Founder, Floral Designer, Stylist
Heidi studied at Writtle College, where she achieved a 2:1 Honours Degree in Horticulture & Distinction Foundation Degree in Professional Floristry.
During this time she trained in two top designer florist shops in London and exhibited at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show where she was invited to present HRH Queen Elizabeth II with a posy of flowers.
On returning to the Isle of Man she was inspired to open her own boutique florist shop in 2009 and has now provided floral designs for hundreds of weddings and events.
Her work has appeared in local, national and international publications and she was recently honoured to work alongside the design team of ‘Laurence of Suburbia’.
Her aim is to create perfection in styling for every single event. Her work as a florist and stylist and collaborations with various wedding suppliers led her to start her own wedding blog 'My Manx Wedding' to inspire local couples and helping them get the very best of whats on offer on the Isle of Man.
Founder, Calligrapher, Stylist
Manx born, Emma was awarded a Distinction grade for her Diploma in Art and Design from University College Isle of Man. During her studies, she focused heavily on graphic design and created a portfolio rich in typography and advertising.
She went on to work in marketing and events organisation, as an in-house graphic designer and logistics coordinator.
Being responsible for the design and execution of international events, she gained a wealth of experience which combined with her art and design background paved the way for the conception of her letterpress and modern calligraphy studio, based in Douglas in the Isle of Man.
Emma has completed a renowned specialist calligraphy course and her design style centres around her unique penmanship.
She is constantly pushing the boundaries of what should and shouldn’t be written on, concluding that not much is off limits!
