The barn at Aimee's farm was the setting for the first part of our Autumn styled shoot and at first glance you may wonder how on earth a dusty, cobweb covered, drafty stone building became a source for our inspiration, but we loved the juxtaposition of glamorous Autumn flowers and luxurious wedding cake along with vintage items & furniture and it just all came together perfectly. In fact when Sarah started to shoot the first frames we were squealing with excitement!
Aimee from Butterfingers absolutely blew our socks off with the Autumn inspired treats that she created for this shoot, including these delicious toffee apples with cinnamon sticks for the handles - they smelt amazing!
Her cake was a 5 tiered masterpiece which included delicate (and totally on trend!) macrame detail, luxurious velvet ribbon bands, battered pan metallic texture and a stylish claret watercolour effect.
Bethany styled the hair for this look with soft curls cascading over Heather's shoulders and Heidi's flower crown sat perfectly on top.
Heidi designed a pretty bouquet for this look that incorporated soft pink and peach roses with trails of eucalyptus foliage and was accented with gold dipped feathers to tie in with the Autumn theme.
Katherine created the perfect ethereal make up for this look with soft dewy textures and warm bronze colour.
Heather wore a stunning Rebecca Ingram dress from Bridal House with a delicate beaded lace top and Aria Chiffon skirt. A navy blue feather bolero jacket also gave our model some extra warmth - perfect for a chilly Autumn day!
